Data protection statement
Welcome to the Cultiva website. This privacy policy explains which personal data we collect when you visit our website and use its services, why we process them and what your rights are.
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data controller
The controller of the data collected on this website is Maria Gonzalez Diaz, Route de Florissant 10, 1206 Geneva (Switzerland), UID CHE-445.673.077. For any questions about the protection of your data, you can write to us at [email protected] or call us on +41 78 667 34 60.
Data collected during your visit
On each visit, our server automatically records technical information: browser type and version, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, date and time of access, IP address and internet service provider. We use this data only to keep the website working properly and securely; we do not use it to identify you.
Our website is protected and accelerated by the Cloudflare service, which processes this technical data to filter out malicious traffic. This processing may take place outside Switzerland and the European Union.
Personal data
Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. Processing includes any operation performed on that data, such as collection, recording, storage, use, alteration, disclosure or erasure.
Contact form and orders
When you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, the reason for your enquiry, any quantities you indicate and your message. We use this data only to reply to your enquiry and, if you wish, to prepare your order.
We do not sell your data or pass it on to third parties for advertising purposes. We keep our correspondence for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and to meet our legal retention obligations.
If you contact us through the WhatsApp button, the conversation goes through the WhatsApp service, operated by WhatsApp Ireland Ltd. (Meta group). Your phone number and messages are then processed by that service under its own privacy policy. The button does not send any data until you click on it.
Cookies
Our website uses technical cookies that are necessary for it to work. Other cookies, such as audience measurement cookies, are only used with your consent, which you can give, refuse or change at any time from the cookie banner.
Audience measurement (Google Analytics)
If you accept it in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics, a service of Google Ireland Ltd., to know how many people visit the website, which pages they view and where they come from. This information is statistical: we do not use it to identify you, and IP addresses are not stored.
Google may process this data outside Switzerland and the European Union, in particular in the United States, under the safeguards provided by law. Without your consent, Google Analytics is not loaded, and you can withdraw your consent at any time from our cookie policy.
Links to other websites
Our website may contain links to other websites, for example our Instagram and Facebook pages. We have no influence over their content or over how they process your data; their own privacy policies apply.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your personal data, its correction, erasure or the restriction of its processing, object to its processing and ask to receive it in a common format. Simply write to us at [email protected].
If you believe that the processing of your data does not comply with the law, you can lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, if you live in the European Union, with the data protection authority of your country.
Changes
We may update this privacy policy at any time, in particular if our website or the law changes. The applicable version is the one published on this page.
